ORDINANCE NO. 76-10-1327
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF SCRUGGS AND
HAMMOND , INC . FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE LANDSCAPE , STREET FURNITURE
AND SECOND STREET ALLEY_ DESIGN FOR THE TOWNLIFT PROJECT IN THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SUCH WORK . _ ..
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the proposal
of Scruggs and Hammond , ,Inc . , in an amount not to exceed $7, 873.00 for preparation
of the Landscape, Street Furniture and Second Street Alley Design for the Townlift
Project .
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into an agreement with Scruggs and Hammond, Inc. for preparation of said. design
according to the proposal attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein .
SECTION 3. The amount to be paid for said work shall be charged to the
Community Development Block Grant Funds .
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on. file for public inspection for at least one week
in the completed form in which. it shall be.put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter .
