ORDINANCE NO. 76-9-1322
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF FLORENCE & HUTCHESON,
INC . FOR PREPARATION OF THE EIGHTH STREET SANITARY SEWER DESIGN FOR THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SUCH WORK
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the proposal
of Florence & Hutcheson, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $26,000.00 for preparation
of the Eighth Street Sanitary Sewer Design .
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into an agreement with Florence & Hutcheson, Inc. for preparation of said design
according to the proposal attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein.
SECTION 3. The amount to be paid for said work shall be charged to the
"Sewer System Construction Account of 1974" .
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter .
