ORDINANCE NO. 76-9-1321
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF AN ALLEY IN
BLOCK 15 OF AFTON HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing
of an alley in Block 15 of Afton Heights Subdivision, more particularly described
as follows:
An 18.5 foot alley running in a semicircular direction
- - - ~ ~ between Friedman Avenue and Afton Avenue ; as shown
in Block 15 of Afton Heights Subdivision, of record in
- Plat Book rrA~r , 'page' L in the McCracken County Court '
Clerk's Office .
Subject to the granting of easements for the passage of vehicles
upon the easterly end of thealleyway area -of sufficient width
for private driveways to the residences of Sinquefield,
Wurth and Walden .
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute
and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court
for a judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1 above.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption .
