AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING .THE OFFER OF KENNETH PHILLIPS ,
164 WOODWARD STREET, PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO PURCHASE THE INTERES--T
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN LOTS 7 AND 8 ON COOLEY STREET (IN THE REAR OF
WOODWARD STREET) , FOR THE SUM OF $230.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY GLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH; KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That he offer -of Kenneth Phillips in the amount of $230.00
to purchase the, interest. of the City in the following described land be accepted , said
land being described as-follows:
Being Lots 7 and 8, Block 1, Bradshaw property, fronts 85.94 feet
-• on the west side of Cooley Street north of Yeiser Street and as shown
on page 22 of Block Map Book 6 in the office of the City Engineer .
Being the same land (Russell and Lucille Lockett property) conveyed
to the City of Paducah by deed of record in Deed Book 575, page 676
in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office .
SECTION 2: Upon the payment of $230.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor
and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Kenneth Phillips
all the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1
hereof, and said deed ,of conveyance -shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty
as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate
survey.
SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from .and
after the date of its adoption .
