ORDINANCE •NO . T6-7-1305
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OR ALLAN RHODES , INC . FOR
SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW- 1976, COMPACT AUTOMOBILE FOR USE BY THE
INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY; - -
SECTION 1. That the. City of Paducah:, Kentucky, accept the bid. of
Allan Rhodes, Inc. in the amount of $3,874.70, for sale to the City of one (1) new
1976 Ford Maverick automobile for use by they Inspection Department, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bide specifications and advertisement for
bids as was authorized by Resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on
June 22 , 1976 , and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes , Inc , dated July 1, 1976 .
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes , Inc . for sale to the City of the vehicle
authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid .
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said vehicle shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3014.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days
thereafter .
