AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB-SECTION (a) OF SECTION 12-19`
"NUMBER: , RANK AND SALARIES OF MEMBERS" OF ARTICLE II "FIRE DEPARTMENT"
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sub-section (a) of Section 12-19 "Number, rank and
salaries of members" , of Article II "Fire Department"' of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that same as amended and
reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"'Sec. 12-19. Number, rank and salaries of members.
(a) The' number and rank of the members of the fire department of the city
and their monthly salaries, provided such salaries are not changed by any annual
apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted, shall be as follows:

Assistant Chief 4 1,126. UO
Captain-training officer 1 970: OU

Firefighter (assistant inspector) 1 722.00

SECTION 2 .. This ordinance amends `an'~ordinance originally adopted on
December 11, 1951, and last amended by Ordinance No. 76-6=1291 adopted on June 22, 1976.
SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall be in full 'force and effect from and after
its adoption and retroactive to July 5, 1976.
