HomeMy WebLinkAbout76-6-1284181 f~ ORDINANCE NO. 76-6-1284 " AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RES'PRCTING' THE REZONING'OF`PR:OPERTY`LOGATED ON'WOODWARD STREET; "AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE=1971 SO AS TO'EFFEC'T SUCH REZONING BE-IT ORDAINED BY' THE- BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE: CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION '1. That a resolution `adopted by the Paducah Planniri"g Commission on June 7, 1976', entitled "A RESOLUTION CONST'TTUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH'. PLANNING"COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OE PROPERTY `LOCATED ON WOODWARD STREET" , be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map .amendment proposed in sad° resolution be and the same are hereby, ~ declared to be in .agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City ~ of Paducah : ~ ~ ~ t SECTION ~3. That the zone classification of the follo~ving'property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium"Density Residential Zone, to M=2; Industrial Zone: Beginning at a point in the centerline of Woodward Street, which point is 135 feet west of the westerly right-of-way of Meyers Street (as"measured from the southwesterly corner of the inter- section of Woodward and Meyers Street); thence with the-centerline of Woodward Street and`in a.vvesterly direction 2:UU feet;. thence in a southerl"y direction and' with the" line" separating the lands of T Gordon° Meeks . a#~ al and` the "lands of Mary Wurth a. distance ~of 163 feet to a point in the property line of L . H°. Bolen, "et al thence in an easterly direction and' with _the line- separating the lands of - " Gordon Meeks from the lands of L H. Bolen, et al and the lands of R. G. Hicks'a distance-of 2QO feet;: thence in'a~riortherly direction and with the line separating the lands of Gordon Meeks; et' al from the lands of J . C . Johnson , Jr . , Viva Thweatt and L . H . Wilson a"distance of 163 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative , ineffective or invalid for any cause , the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section , paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections , paragraphs and provisions .
