ORDINANCE NO. 76-6-1278
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING. THE BID OF SUTTON HEATING & AIR
CONDITIONING FOR THE INSTALLATIOIQ OF A HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
IN THE COMMUNITY CENTER TO BE CONSTRUCTED AT 8TH & ADAMS STREETS , AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY lUTANAGER.~TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1: That the City of -Paducah accept the bid of Sutton Heating &
Air Conditioning 'for the installation of a heating and air conditioning system in the
community center at 8th and Adams Streets, said bid being in the amount of $7,184.00,
'and having the required specifications as set out in the Invitation for Bids, Contract
Documents and the Resolution authorizing bids, which was adopted May 11, 1976,
and as contained in the bid of Sutton Heating & Air Conditioning.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Sutton Heating & Air Conditioning for said construction project
as set out in Section 1 above, according to said- resolution, invitation for bids; contract
documents and the bid of Sutton Heating & Air Conditioning .
SECTION 3. The cost of same shall be charged to "Community Center
Construction and Maintenance Account , City of Padueah" .
SECTION 4.` This ordinance shall` be introduced and' remain on file
for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage , and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter .
