ORDINANCE NO. 76-6=1277
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF COLE'LUMBER COMPANY
FOR FURNISHING ROOFING AND OTHER MATERIAL TO BE' USED: IN THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE COMMUNITY CENTER TO BE LOCATED AT 8TH AND ADAMS STREETS", AND
AUTHORIZING THE` CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR `SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of •Paducah accept the bid of Cole Lumber
Company for furnishing roofing and other material to be used in the construction of
"the community center to be located at 8th and Adams Streets, said bid being in the
= amount of $9,174.64, and having the required specifications`as set out in the Request
for Bids, Contract Documents and the Resolixtion° authorizing bids, which was adopted
on May 11, 1976, and as contained in the bid of Cole Lumber Company.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager~be; and'he is"hereby; authorized to
execute a contract with Cole Lumber Company'for `said material as set out in Seetion 1
above according to said •re'sooution; request for bids , coritr~.et documents and the
bid of Cole Lumber Company. " ~ ~ "
SECTION 3. All costs for said iaterial• shall be "charged" to~tYie"'

for at least one week far public inspection in-the completed form in titrhich it shall be
put upon its final passage , and if "adopted slialY be in full force and' effect ten days
thereafter .
