HomeMy WebLinkAbout76-5-1274157 ~~ ORDINANCE NO. 76-5-1274 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JIMAR PAVING COMPANY, INC . FOR RESURFACING VARIOUS STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH RESURFACING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Jimar Paving Company, Inc. for resurfacing various streets in the City of Paducah, including the raising and resetting of manholes ; as follows: Bituminous Concrete, Class I, Type A Bituminous Primer Coat (Primer L) Bituminous Tack Coat (SS-1H) Base Construction (DGA) Shoulder Construction (DGA) Manhole Adjustment 16.10 per ton .50 per gallon . 50 per gallon 5.00 per ton 5.00 per ton 80.00 each Said bid being in substantial compliance with the resolution authorizing bids which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on April 27, 1976, said bid being dated May 7, 1976. SECTION 2 . That the City Manager be , and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Jimar Paving Company, Inc . for the resurfacing of said streets and for the raising and resetting of manholes, which contract shall be in compliance with Section 1 above, the resolution authorizing bids, plans and specifications, and the bid of Jimar Paving Company , Inc . SECTION 3. The cost of this project shall be paid from either General Fund or Federal Revenue Sharing Account No . 3454. SECTION 4.
