AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO A PROPOSED H1GIiWAY PROJECT WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PERTAINING TOO"A :TR.AFFIC AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY'OF PADUCAH AND THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY
.WHEREAS, the Kentucky Department of Transportation, Bureau of Highways
(hereinafter referred fio-as "Department") has made a survey and prepared plans on
Highway Project:, T 3015 (1) , in the City "of Paducah; (hereinafter referred to as
"City")-and described as follows: .Junction of Beltline and Bridge Street in .Paducah.
Make signal alterations and left turn storage lanes . Including therein all of the right,
title and interest held by the City in -the approaches to all other city .streets crossed by
said project .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CONIMIS$IONERS
OF~ THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
That the following be ratified 'and approved by this Board:
SECTION 1. That the City recognize's that certain traffic regulations will
be required by the construction of the project within the city limits and hereby grants
to the Mayor authority to enter into a contract (designated as TD 11-39) on behalf
of the City with the Department putting into effect the provisions of this section:.
SECTION 2. Any ordiriari.ces or parts of ordinances iri conflict herewith
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict .
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and considered by the
Board of Commissioners with relation to pertinent Kentucky Statutes and ordinances
of the City of Paducah, and shall be in_.full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption .
