ORDINANCE NO. 76-4-1261
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WEST KENTUCKY ROOFING
& SIDING CO . INC ._ FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FENCING AND BACKSTOPS AT THE
LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL FIELDS , AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of West Kentucky
Roofing & Siding Co . Inc . , for the construction of fencing and backstops at the Little
League Baseball Fields, said bid being in the amount of $6,267.80, said bid having the
required specifications as set out in the Invitation for Bids , Contract Documents and the
Resolution authorizing bids, which was adopted on March 23, 1976, and as contained
in the bid of West Kentucky Roofing & Siding Co. Inc., dated April 7, 1976.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager~be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with West Kentucky Roofing & Siding Co. Inc .,for. the construction
project set out in Section 1 above, according to said resolution, invitation for bids,
contract documents and the bid of West Kentucky. Roofing & Siding Co . Inc .
SECTION 3. All costs by the City of Paducah relating to the subject
construction and contract shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 5125.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage , and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect immediately thereafter .
