ORDINANCE NO. 76-4-1255
' AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-49 "CITY MANAGER - GENERALLYrr
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2-49 "City Manager -Generally" of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that
said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec . 2-49 . City Manager -Generally .
The city manager shall receive a salary for his services at the rate of
twenty-eight thousand seven hundred ten dollars ($28 , 710.00) per year . Such salary
shall be paid at the times other city salaries are paid, and shall be exclusive of the
compensation paid to him as a member of the electric plant board of the city . In the
event the individual holding the position of city manager is a licensed and practicing
attorney in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, he shall bear the title of associate counsel
and may assist the corporation counsel in any legal matters involving the City of
Paducah."

SECTION 2. This ordinance amends Ordinance No. 75-1-1071 adopted
January 7, 1975.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and retroactive to March 29, 1976.
