AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 26-20 "SALARY" , OF ARTICLE II ,
TRIAL COMMISSIONER, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 26-20 "Salary" of Article II, Trial Commissioner,
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 26-20. Salary.
The compensation for the trial commissioner of the police court for
services rendered shall be not more than five hundred fifty dollars ($550.00) per month,
payable at the same time and in the same manner as the salaries of other city officers and
employees. The police judge shall fix the salary, and shall notify the city treasurer and
city manager of all changes in appointments and salaries. The trial commissioner shall
receive no other city benefits for employment."
SECTION 2. Section 1 amends an ordinance originally adopted on January 17,
1967, and last amended by Section 3 of Ordinance No. 73-12-908 adopted December 28,
1973.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and retroactive to March 29, 1976.
