ORDINANCE NO. 76-4-1250
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT
TO CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND THE-AMERICAN FEDERATION
OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES.AFL-CIO.LO.CAL-1586, COVERING
THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 1, 1976 THROUGH MARCH 31, 1978 -
WHEREAS , the Contract and former Amendment to -Contract between the
City .and the Union expired on March 31, 1976 ; .and .. .
WHEREAS., the City and the .Union.-have negotiated a new Amendment to
Contract to cover the period from April 1, 1976 through. March 31, 1978, and
.WHEREAS-, a copy of the proposed amendment is attached hereto and
made a part hereof .
.NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED .BY THE BOARD, OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be , -and he is hereby ,- -authorized, to execute
an Amendment to Contract between the City and the Union covering the period from
April 1,_ -197.6 through March 31, 1978 according to the .terms and conditions and in the
form of the proposed Amendment to Contract attached hereto .
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption, and retroactive. as necessary to comply with. all terms and conditions
of the proposed Amendment to Contract.
