HomeMy WebLinkAbout76-3-124794 j ORDINANCE NO. 76-3-1247 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON BLOW AVENUE , NORTH OF PAXTON STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE-1971 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on March 15, 1976, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED'REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON BLOW AVENUE , NORTH OF PAXTON STREET" , be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be , and it is hereby , changed from R-4 , High Density Residential Zone to M-2 , Heavy Industrial Zone Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerlines of Paxton Street and Blow Avenue; thence in an easterly direction and with the centerline of Paxton Street , 442.2 feet to the right-of-way of the N . C . and St .. L . Railroad Company; thence., in a northerly direction and with the said right-of-way, 635.65 feet; thence in a north- westerly direction,and with said right-of-way., 669.5 feet; thence in a southwesterly direction, across Blow Avenue, and with the centerline . of a 16-foot alley, approximately .185.,2.feet; thence.in a southerly direction and with the centerline of a 16.5 foot alley, 425 feet to the centerline of Fulton Street; thence in an easterly direction _and ,with the centerline of Fulton Street, 175.25 feet to the point of intersection . . , of the centerline. of Fulton,Street and_ the centerline of Blow Avenue; thence in a southerly direction and with the centerline of Blow Avenue -~ .,a distance of 600 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative , ineffective or invalid for any cause , the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections , paragraphs and provisions . SECTION 5.
