ORDINANCE NO. 76=3-1239
AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION CONTRACT NO. A-2877 WITH THE UNITED STATES
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT TO PROVIDE HOUSING
ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS FOR` FORTY UNITS OF SECTION 8 EXISTING HOUSING
BE IT ORDAiNED~B'Y THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah, Kentucky, has received
an Annual Contribution Contract, numbered A-2877, from the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development, to provide housing assistance
payments for forty (40) units of Section 8 Existing Housing pursuant to
application heretofore filed .
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky; is hereby
authorized to enter into and sign said Annual Contribution Contract as required
by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development . The Mayor
is further authorized and directed to remit said contract to the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development for their final approval and
execution of'said contract .
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if .adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
