AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BOWLING GENERAL TIRE , INC .
FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH IT'S REQUIREMENT OF NEW
AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK TIRES FOR THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1, 1976 TO
DECEMBER 31, 1976, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Bowling General
Tire , Inc . for furnishing the City of Paducah with it's requirement of new automobile
and truck tires for the period of time from January 1, 1976 to December 31, 1976 ,
said bid being in substantial compliance with the specifications set out in the
resolution dated January 13, 19.76., adopted by the Board of Commissioners, authorizing
bids , and as contained in the bid of Bowling General Tire , Inc . which was received
and filed with the Minutes of the meeting of Febr--.nary 10, 1976:
SECTION 2: That the City Manager be, and°he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Bowling General Tire , Inc . for the purchase of the materials
as set out in Section 1 above according to said resolution and bid .
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall:-be introduced and remain on-file for
at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its. final passage ,: and -if-adopted shall be iri full force and effect tern (10)
days .thereafter .
