A ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE -OFFER OF JIM MUSGOVE , P . O .
BOX, 568, PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO PURCHASE THEINTEREST OF' THE CITY OF
PADUCAH IN PROPERTY AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF 3RD & MONROE STREETS
FOR THE SUM OF $1,310.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH , KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Jim Musgove in the amount of $1, 310.00
to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land therein , be accepted ,
said land being described as follows:
- - -Being Lot No . 73 and a part of Lot No . 74 in Block No . 10
at the Northwest corner of 3rd Street and Monroe Street, and
beginning at said corner and running North with the West
line of 3rd Street 75.5 feet; thence Westerly and parallel
with-Monroe Street -112 feet; thence Nbrthwardly and parallel
with 3rd Street 40 feet to the north line of Lot No . 74; thence
Westwardly with said line and parallel with. Monroe Street 61.25
feet; thence Southwardly and parallel with 3rd Street 115.5
feet to the North line of Monroe Street; thence Eastwardly with
said line 173.25 feet to the point of beginning. See Deed Book
176, page 271.
Being the same land (Mary A. Eaker property) conveyed to the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, by Benjamin C. LeRoy, Treasurer,
by deed of record in Deed Book 574, page 574, and Deed Book
578 , page 482 in the McCracken Gounty Court Clerk's office .
SECTION- 2. Upon the payment of the sum of'$1,310.00 to the City Treasurer,
the Mayor 'and City Glerk are hereby authorized to convey to Jim Musgove all of the right,
title and interest of the -City in the property described in Section: 1 hereof, and said deed
of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain. no warranty as to title and shall be
subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
