ORDINANCE NO. 76-1-1218
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES MUNICIPAL EQUIPMENT, INC .
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF A LEACH , 20 CUBIC YARD , SANICRUISER
FOR USE BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A -CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of James
Municipal Equipment, Inc. for sale to the City of one (1) Leach, 20 cubic yard, Sanicruiser
for the sum of $10, 200.00, for use by the Refuse Department; said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 16, 1975, and as
contained in the bid of James Municipal Equipment, Inc., dated December 31, 1975.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with James Municipal Equipment, Inc . for the sale to the City of the
item authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid .
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said item shall be charged to Federal
Revenue Sharing Account No. 3514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage , and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter .
