AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17-127 OF ARTICLE III
"LICENSE FEE FOR EMPLOYEES" , OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 17-127 of Article III "License Fee for

p y the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended
and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read
as follows:
"Sec . 17-127. Imposed; amount .
There is hereby levied and imposed a license fee upon all persons
engaged in any occupation, trade or profession, as defined in this article, in the city,
for the privilege of engaging in such occupation, trade or profession, which license
fee shall be measured by one and one-half per cent (1.50%) of the gross salaries, wages,
commissions and other compensation earned by such persons on and after the 1st
day of February, 1976."
SECTION 2. This ordinance amends Section 1 of an ordinance adopted by
the Board of Commissioners on September 25, 1956, and last amended on December 20,
1966.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption .
