ORDINANCE No. 76-1-1216
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB-SECTIONS (a) AND (c) OF SECTION 10-59
"PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT" , OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sub-sections (a) and (c) of Section 10-59 "Parks and
recreation department" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
be amended and reordained so that same shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 10-59. Parks and recreation department..
(a) There is -hereby created and authorized the •foTlowing positions in the
parks and recreation department, and the salary of each position, provided the amount
of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted ,
shall be as follows:
Position
Administrative and recreation assistant
Maintenance supervisor
Office manager
Recreation supervisor
Senior citizens director
Clerk-typist 445.00

(c) All other positions of hourly employment shall be paid at the base
hourly rate for the first six months of employment, and at the expiration of six
months the rate of pay shall be increased by $0.05 per hour, such increases to be
made upon recommendation of the city manager."

SECTION 2. Section 1 amends Section 11 of an ordinance adopted April
11, 1972 (Ordinance No. 72-4-630) and last amended by Ordinance No. 75-9-1165
adopted September 9, 1975.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption .
