ORDINANCE NO. 76-1-1214
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON OLD MAYFIELD
ROAD, NORTH OF SOUTH 21ST STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING
ORDINANCE-1971 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission
on January 5, 1976, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF
THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY
LOCATED ON OLD MAYFIELD ROAD , NORTH OF SOUTH 21ST STREET" , be approved
as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth .
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement
with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and
it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone, to B-3, General
Business Zone:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline
of the Mayfield Road and the centerline .of a 5-:foot. alley
between the properties of Charles. L . LeNeave and E . M ,
Bailey Company, located on .the south side of the Mayfield
Road; thence in a westerly direction, and with the center-
line of the Mayfield Road, 94.9 feet; thence in a south-
westerly direction and with the lines separating the
properties of Charles LeNeave and--E . J . Roper , 21.8.4 feet
to the centerline of a 16-foot alley; thence with the centerline
of the 16-foot alley and in a southeasterly direction 82.5 feet;- -
thence in a northeasterly direction and with the centerline
of the 5-foot alley .mentioned above 23.6..66 feet to the point of
beginning .
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections , paragraphs and provisions .
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its
