COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF 8TH STREET AND CLARK STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE-1971 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on January 5, 1976, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF 8TH STREET AND CLARK STREET" , be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth . SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3 . That the zone classification of the following property be , and it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone, to A-1, Civic Center Zone: Beginning at the point of intersection of the center- line of Clark Street and South 8th Street; thence in a northwesterly direction and along the centerline of South 8th Street, 148 feet to a point in the centerline of South 8th .Street ancT'the south property line of Thomas Dobson property; thence in a southwesterly direction along-the south property line of Thomas Dobson, a distance of 87.75 feet; thence in a southeasterly direction and with the line separating the property of Wes: McBride and J . M . Harper , a distance of 148 feet to the centerline of Clark Street; thence- in a northeasterly direction and •with the centerline of Clark Street, a distance of 87.75 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative , ineffective or invalid for any cause , the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections , paragraphs and provisions . SECTION 5.
