AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN
AGREEMENT WITH PADUCAH CABLE COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY AND THE
PADUCAH PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO OPERATE THE GOVERN-
MENTAL ACCESS CHANNEL ON CABLE TV
WHEREAS, the City has recently acquired TV broadcasting equipment
for use in broadcasting on Channel 11 of the Comcast Cable System within the
City of Paducah, and
WHEREAS, Paducah Cable Communications Authority has the function
and power to coordinate the franchisee's consulting services to facilitate govern-
ment, educational, community groups and individual use of the public channels.
KENTUCKY:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter
into an Agreement with Paducah Cable Communications Authority and the Paducah
Public Library Board of Trustees, said Agreement is attached, hereto and made
a part hereof as if set out in full herein.
SECTION 2. This -ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
