ORDINANCE NO. 80-12-2037
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MANNING EQUIPMENT, INC. FOR
SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE MOBIL SWEEPER TO BE USED BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Manning Equipment
Inc., for sale to the City of one Mobil Sweeper, for the sum of $47,528.00; said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids
as was authorized by Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on October 28, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
a contract with Manning Equipment, Inc., for the purchase of the Street Sweeper
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said sweeper shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing. Account Na. 3414.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall• be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
