AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE UNITED STATES, OF AMERICA (DEPARTMENT OF ,ENERGY;, PADUCAH
GASEOUS DIFFUSION PLANT)
WHEREAS,, Public Law 46, 84th Congress authorizes agencies of the
United States of America to enter into reciprocal agreements _with public or
private corporations for_ mutual aid in furnishing fire protection; and
assistance;
WHEREAS, the Community is authorized to render fire protection
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor of the City of Paducah be authorized to
enter into a contract with the United States of America (Department of Energy;
Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant), setting forth. the terms and conditions of said
Agreement.
SECTION "2. The agreement to be entered into is attached hereto and
made a part hereof as if herein set out in full.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
