AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION
FOR CONSENT TO. SUBLEASE WITH CITIZENS BANK 8 TRUST -COMPANY
BE_„IT_ ORDAINED BY THE, .CITY. OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the. Mayor of the. City of Paducah, Kentucky, is,
hereby authorized to execute, an Application for Consent to Sublease certain land
leased to the;City of Paducah, by Citizens- Bank. & Trust Company (Trustee for
Illinois Central Gulf Railroad), by lease -dated the. 6th day of, May,- 1966 and,
more particularly described as Lease No. 30313, filed with the City Clerk of
the City of Paducah
on
August
30, 1966.
SECTION
2.
A copy
of the Application is attached hereto and made a
part hereof as if set out in full herein.
SECTION 3. In order to provide for the expeditious development
of the hotel -convention center complex, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect and retroactive to
November 18, 1980.
