ORDINANCE NO. 80-10-2011
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE -MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER
INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ILLINOIS CENTRAL -GULF RAILROAD COMPANY TO
CONSTRUCT- A PUBLIC GRADE CROSSING'IN THE VICINITY OF OLIVE STREET IN
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE "IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH; KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and` they are hereby,
authorized to enter into an agreement with Illinois Central Gulf Railroad Company
to construct a public grade crossing in. the vicinity of Olive Street in Paducah,
Kentucky; a copy of said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof as
if set out in full herein.
SECTION- 2. The estimated cost of the work to be done by Illinois Central
Gulf Railroad Company is $1,680:51. However, the City agrees to reimburse the
Illinois Central Gulf .Railroad' an amount equal to the cost of such work as shall be
performed under this agreement-. The Illinois Central Gulf -Railroad shall maintain
this crossing as- long as it is in place, such costs to 'be repaid'to- the Illinois
Central Gulf Railroad Company by the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 3r The cost for said construction, of this` :grade crossing shall
be charged to Federal Revenue- Sharing :Account No.. 3.454.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
