ORDINANCE NO. 80-10-2008
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KEN CARNEAL TO SUPPLY THE
CITY'S REQUIREMENT OF GRAVEL FOR THE PERIOD OCTOBER 1, 1980 THROUGH
OCTOBER 1, 1981, FOR THE SUM OF FIFTY CENTS (.50) PER CUBIC YARD; AT PIT
SITE LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF OLD CAIRO AND ODGEN LANDING ROADS,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT "FOR 'SUCH- PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
-SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Ken Carneal,
P. O. Box 2262, Paducah, KY 42001, to supply the City's requirement of gravel
for the period October 1, 1980 through October 1, 1981, for the sum'of: fifty cents
(.50) per cubic yard, at- pit' site located at the intersection of ,Old" Cairo and Odgen
Landing Roads; said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Order passed by the Board of
Commissioners on July 22, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
a contract with Ken Carneal for the purchase of the gravel authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents here-
tofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. "The purchase price for said gravel shall be charged to
General Fund Account No. 3412.
SECTION''4: This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of -title and a certified summary thereof.
