AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION OF CLAY
STREET, A PORTION OF HARRISON STREET, A PORTION OF PARK AVENUE AND
RIVERSIDE DRIVE AND A PORTION OF SECOND STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing
of a portion of Clay Street, a,portion of Harrison Street, a portion of Park Avenue
and Riverside Drive anda portion of Second Street, more particularly described
as follows:
Clay Street
All that portion of -Clay Street -from the east right-of-way line
of 3rd Street to the low water mark at the Ohio River.
HARRISON STREET
All that portion of Harrison Street from the east right-of-way
line of 3rd Street to the low water mark at the Ohio River.
PARK AVENUE AND RIVERSIDE DRIVE
All that portion of Park AvenueandRiverside Drive from the
east right-of-way line of 4th Street to 2nd Street.
SECOND STREET
All that portion of 2nd Street from the north property line of
Madison Street to the south right-of-way tine. of Clay Street.'
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the.City of Paducah, Kentucky
be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute
pursuant to KRS 82:405, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a=j-udgment
ordering the closing of the streets described in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
