ORDINANCE NO: 80-10-2000
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT TO NATIONAL SHERIFFS'
ASSOCIATION, IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,574,50, FOR COMPREHENSIVE LIABILITY
INSURANCE FOR THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, a determination has been. made ,by the Assistant City Manager,
that liability insurance coverage for the Paducah Police Department should be pro-
cured by non-competitive negotiations since it is a professional liability_ insurance
and competitive negotiations are not feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE,_ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF. PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City pay the invoice of National Sheriffs'
Association, in the amount of $12,57,4.50, for comprehensive liability insurance
for the Paducah Police Department, for the year 1980-1981.
SECTION 2. The purchase_ price for said insurance shall be charged
to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 2180.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
