ORDINANCE NO. 80-10-1999
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF KELLY AVENUE
LOCATED BETWEEN GREEN STREET AND BOUGH STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the :closing
located between Green Street and Bough Street, and more.--..

particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point 265 feet north of the interesection of the -north
right-of-way line of Brown Street and the west right-of-way4Bough-t-
Street; said point being the intersection of the west right-of-way
line of Bough Street with the south right-of-way line of Kelly Avenue;
thence in a westerly direction along the south right-of-way line of
Kelly Avenue and parallel with Brown Street a distance of 400 feet
to the east right-of-way line of Green Street; thence in a northerly
direction with the east right-of-way line of Green Street a distance
of 50 feet_ to a point in the north right of way- line of Kelly Avenue;
thence in an easterly direction along' the north right-bf=way line of
Kelly Avenue a distance of 400 feet to the-. west right-of-way line of
Bough Street; thence in a southerly direction along the' west right-

SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City, of Paducah, Kentucky,
be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute,
pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment
ordering the closing of the street described in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
