MARCH 2 & 3, 2000
At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held in the Commission Chambers at
City Hall at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 2, 2000, Mayor Jones presided, and upon call of
the roll by the City Clerk, the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Coleman, Paxton and Mayor Jones (3). Commissioner Wrye arrived approximately five
minutes late (1): Commissioner Smith was absent (1).
1 R&F CALLED MEETING NOTICES
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that the
Called Meeting Notice of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah for 4:00
p.m., Thursday, March 2, 2000, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas,
Commissioners Coleman, Paxton and Mayor Jones (3).
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the
Board go into closed session for discussion of matters pertaining to the following topics:
Collective bargaining with public employees, as permitted by
KRS 61.810(1)(e)
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Paxton and Mayor Jones (3).
NOTE: COMMISSIONER WRYE ARRIVED AT THIS TIME.
At the conclusion of the Executive Session the Board reconvened in open session,
whereupon on the Mayor called the meeting back to order.
NOTE: COMMISSIONER COLEMAN LEFT AT THIS TIME. '5-" I
C, MOTION TO ADJOURN TO 8:30 A.M., MARCH 3, 2000
Mayor Jones offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that the Board of
Commissioners adjourn until 8:30 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2000.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Paxton, Wrye and Mayor Jones (3).
8:30 A.M., MARCH 3, 2000
The Board of Commissioners reconvened and continued their March 2, 2000, Executive
Session which adjourned until 8:30 a.m., March 3, 2000. Present were Mayor Jones,
Commissioners Coleman, Paxton and Wrye (4).
At the conclusion of the Executive Session and upon motion the meeting adjourned.
