ORDINANCE NO. 80-9-1992
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CARDINAL FENCE COMPANY, INC.
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FENCING AND BACKSTOP IN STUART NELSON PARK, FOR
THE SUM OF $12, 538.70, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO, EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bi•d, of Cardinal Fence
Company, Inc., for construction of fencing and backstop in Stuart Nelson Park,
for the sum of $12, 538.70; said bid
being in
substantial compliance with _the
bid
specifications and advertisement for
bids as
was authorized by Order passed
by the
Board of Commissioners on_August 26, 1980, and as contained in the bid of Cardinal
Fence. Company, Inc., dated September 4, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Cardinal Fence Company, Inc., for construction of the
fencing and backstop authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said construction shall be charged
to General Fund Account No. 5125 (Expansion 8 Development) .
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title .and a certified _summary thereof.
