ORDINANCE NO. 80-9-1989
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE - BID OF WAHL'S EXCAVATING TO SUPPLY
THE CITY'S REQUIREMENT OF GRAVEL FOR THE PERIOD OCTOBER 1, - 1980 THROUGH
OCTOBER 1, 1981, FOR THE SUM OF $3.75 PER CUBIC YARD, DELIVERED TO ANY
DESIGNATED PLACE IN THE CITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE- CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That. -the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wahl's. Excavating
for the purchase of the City's requirement of gravel for the period October 1, 1980
through October 1, 1981, -for,rlhe sum of $3.75 per cubic. yard, delivered to any,-.
deslgnated<-- lace in the City; said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid

specificati6 s and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Order passed -
by the
Board of Commissioners on Jd_Iy 22, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Wahl's Excavating for the purchase of the gravel authorized

in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said gravel shall be charged to
General Fund Account No. 3412.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
