ORDINANCE NO. 80-9-1985
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING -COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF -PROPERTY -LOCATED AT 2000-
2010 BRIDGE STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE 1976
SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That- a resolution adopted by the 'Paducah Planning Com-
mission on August 1, 1980, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL
REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION`ON THE PROPOSED REZONING
OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2000 - 2010 BRIDGE STREET", be approved as the
final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change --and the map amendment
proposed in said= resolution be, and the same are hereby; declared to be in agree-
ment with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION "3. That the 'zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby,' changed from B-1, Convenience and Service Zone to B-3, General
Business Zone:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Bridge Street
with the centerline of Hays Avenue; thence in a northwesterly
, direction _and with the centerline of Bridge Street 364 feet to
the point of intersection of the centerline of Bridge Street and
the centerline of Ashbrook Avenue; thence in a northerly di-
rection and with the centerline of Ashbrook Avenue 166 feet;
thence in an easterly direction and with the centerline of a
public alley 190 feet; thence in a southerly direction and with
the centerline of'a" new public alley 45 feet; thence in an easter-
ly direction and with the centerline of a public alley 145 feet
to the centerline of Hays Avenue; thence` in a southerly direction
and with the centerline of Hays Avenue to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION ""5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication in full.
