AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1. OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED,
"AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING
A BOARD OF TRUSTEES.FOR THE
OPERATION
OF A ,
MUNICIPAL COLLEGE _IN THE
CITY OF. PADUCAH, KENTUCKY",
WHICH WAS
ADOPTED -.
BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON NOVEMBER 6, 1;939, AND .LAST AMENDED
BY ORDINANCE- NO.. 80-3-1877, ADOPTED ON MARCH, 11, 1980.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title above
quoted, which was adopted
by
the Board
of Commissioners on
November
6,
1939,
and last amended
on March
11,
1980, be
further amended and
reordained
so
that said
section shall hereafter read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That (C-Fay--0--Zerby-)- H. C. Mathis be appointed a member
of the Board of Trustees of the Paducah Junior College to- fill the vacancy created by
the (retignatiarr-of-Rvyee--Gregeryi-death of 'E. W. Whiteside, so that said Board of
Trustees (appointed by the City) as now constituted shall be composed of Marshall
E. Nemer, Dr. Leon Higdon, Howard Z. Gray, William A. Feiler, Beasley Vaughn,
Jack Rottgering, E.-ii1F.---NMtses4de-,- Dr. Walter R. Johnson, Mrs. Robert Hassman,
J. William Howerton, Joseph H. Framptom, Clay D. Zerby, and H. C. Mathis.
Said Board of Trustees shall control the municipal college in the City of
Paducah which has been established pursuant to the provisions of KRS 165.160 to
165.200, and are to have all the powers given to them pursuant to the provisions
of said statutes".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
