AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD 8 HONDA,
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO 1980 LN 800 FORD TRUCK, FOR THE SUM OF
$47,372, AND THE BID OF MUNICIPAL EQUIPMENT, INC., FOR SALE TO THE CITY
OF TWO

LEACH SANICRUISER CABS AND CHASSES, FOR
THE SUM
OF
$22,170.00, TO
BE USED BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford
& Honda, for sale to the City of two (2) 1980 LN 800 Ford Trucks, for the sum of
$47,372.00; said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution adopted by the Board of
Commissioners dated July 8, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Municipal
Equipment, Inc., for sale to the City of two 1980 20 -cubic yard Leach Sanicruiser
Cabs and Chasses, for the sum of $22,170.00; said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized
by resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners dated July 8, 1980.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes Ford E Honda and Municipal Equipment, Inc.
for purchase of the trucks, cabs and chassis authorized in Sections 1 and 2 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 4. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged
to Federal -Revenue Sharing .Account No. 3514.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication in full.
