ORDINANCE NO.� 80-8-1,960
AN .ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 80-7-1936 ENTITLED, "AN
ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE QUOTATION OF TRAVIS REFRIGERATION SERVICE FOR
SALE TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF PAD-UCAH, OF ONE
MC40M SCOTSMAN CUBER ICE MACHINE, -FOR-THE SUM OF $2,962.00, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, .. KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the quotation of Travis.
Refrigeration Service for sale, to the Public Works Departments of the City of Paducah,
of one MC40M Scotsman Cuber Ice Machine, for the sum. of $2,962.00.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager -be, and he is, hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Travis Refrigeration Service for the Ice Machine authorized
in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. The purchase. price for -,said ice machine shall be charged
to (Genera+-Ftird Account-7Ne-.-34+4j-Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3414.
SECTION 4. Pursuant to KRS - 84.000 (3) and -KRS. 89.590(l) an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and the requirement for reading of this -ordinance at
two separate meetings is hereby suspended- and- .this ordinance shall be effective
immediately upon passage by the Board of Commissioners.
