At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held in the Commission Chambers at
City Hall at 12:00 noon, Friday, January 28, 2000, Mayor Pro Tem Smith presided, and
upon call of the roll by the City Clerk, the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Coleman, Paxton, Smith, and Wrye (4). Mayor Jones was absent (1).

l Commissioner Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the
Notice of Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah for 12:00
noon, Friday, January 28, 2000, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas,
Commissioners Coleman, Paxton, Wrye and Mayor Pro Tem Smith (4).
ORDINANCE EMERGENCY
ACCEPT BID FOR JETTON GYMNASIUM ROOF
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that the
Board of Commissioners introduce and adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE
ACCEPTING THE BID OF MINTER ROOFING COMPANY INC. IN AN AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $52,133 TO REPLACE THE JETTON GYMNASIUM ROOF, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME". This
ordinance is summarized as follows: Accepting the bid of Minter Roofing Company Inc.
in an amount not to exceed $52,133 for replacement of the Jetton Gymnasium Roof, and
authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract for same. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas,
Commissioners Coleman, Paxton, Wrye and Mayor Pro Tem Smith (4). ORD.NO. 2000-
