ORDINANCE NO. 80-7-1951
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR- TO EXECUTE A LEASE WITH
MRJ &;,,B- CORPORATION, LEASING A PORTION OF BARKLEY PARK FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CONSTRUCTING- A HOTEL COMPLEX
WHEREAS, MRJ & B Corporation, an Indiana Corporation, with its
principle offices at. P. O. Box 157, Oaktown, Indiana 47561, is desirous of con-
structing a hote-I-convention center complex in an area known as Barkley Park,
within _the City of Paducah, and
WHEREAS, it is -necessary for the City to lease to MRJ & B Corporation
the land needed in the construction of the. -hotel complex.
NOW,_ THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,�
KENTUCKY:
-SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and: -instructed to execute,
a lease, agreement with, MRJ, -&. B,. Corporation, which;. is•, attached hereto and -made a
part hereof, as if set out in full.
SECTION 2.. -This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication. ,
