AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF ALLEN AND KLEET AND
ASSOCIATES, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, FOR AUDITING THE -ACCOUNTS OF
THE "COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT. PROGRAM, FOR THE SUM OF $2,500.00
PLUS AN ADDITIONAL SUM,Or $1,000.00 FOR THE SMALL CITIES GRANT, PLUS
AN ADDITIONAL SUM OF $1,250.00 FOR THE URBANDEVELOPMENT ACTION GRANT,
MAKING A TOTAL SUM OF $4,750:00, COVERING THE PERIOD OF SEPTEMBER 1,
1979 THROUGH AUGUST 31, 1980`
BE IT ' ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH., KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the proposal` of Allen and
Kleet and Associates, Certified Public Accountants, to audit the accounts of the Com-
munity Development Block Grant -Program, for the sum of $2,500-.00 plus an additional
sum of $f,000.'06 for -the Small Cities Grant, and plus an additional sum of $1,2 .. 50. 00'
for the Urban Development Action,'Grant, making a total sum of $4,750.00, covering
the period
of September 1,
1979' through-
August 31-,''
4980;
said proposal
being in
accordance
with the terms
and conditions
set forth in
the
letter'of Allen
and Kleet
and Associates, certified public accountants, to Mrs. Nettie Walls, Accountant,
Community Development, hated July 1, 1980.
SECTION -'.2.,' The compensation for ' such audit shall be based ' upon
the standard fees of certified public accountants, and shall be paid -.from Community
Development Block Grant funds. _
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
