ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE QUOTATION OF
TRAVIS
REFRIGERATION
SERVICE FOR
SALE TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENTS
OF THE
CITY OF
PADUCAH, OF ONE MC40M SCOTSMAN CUBER ICE MACHINE, FOR THE SUM OF
$2,962.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the quotation of Travis
Refrigeration Service for sale to the Public Works Departments of the City
of Paducah, of one MC40M Scotsman Cuber Ice Machine, for the sum of $2,962.00.
SECTION 2. That the City manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Travis Refrigeration Service for the Ice Machine
authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. The- purchase price for said ice machine shall be charged
to General Fund Account No. 3414.
'SECTION 4. Pursuant to KRS 84.000(3) and KRS 89.590(l) an emergency
is hereby declared to exist -and. the requirement for reading of this ordinance
at two separate meetings is' hereby suspended and this ordinance shall be effective
immediately upon passage by the ,Board of Commissioners.
