AN ORDINANCE° ACCEPTING .THE° BID OF" G. B. GUESS FOR SALE TO
THE CITY STREET "DEPARTMENT, OF PARTS =FOR .REPAIR OF THE 1977 CASE 11-50.13
TRACK 'LOADER, FOR THE SUM OF $3,998.02, AND- AUTHORIZING THE --CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAI-NED- BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
, That the City of Paducah accept the bid of G.
B. Guess
for sale
to the City of parts for
repair of.the 1977 lCase 1150B Track Loader, for
the sum
of
$3, 998.02; said bid being in substantial compHance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids `as- was authorized by resolution; passed ' by the- Board of .Com-
missioners on May 27; =1980, and as contained' in the:bid of G. B. Guess, dated
June 6, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with G. B. Guess for the repairs authorized in Section 1 above,
'according to the specifications, .bid proposal and all contract documents' heretofore
approved and incorporated in .they bid'.
SECTION 3. The- purchase price for said repairs shalh be charged to
General Fund Account No. 3409.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which ,it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
