ORDINANCE NO. 80-6-1922
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY. MANAGER
AND CITY TREASURER TO PAY THE SUM OF $18,550.00 TO H 8 G CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY, INC. FOR EARTH MOVING WORK AT THE LANDFILL AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE ,CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager and City Treasurer shall pay to
H 8 G Construction Company, Inc., the sum of _$18,550.00, for earth moving
work at the landfill, which work was required by the Kentucky Department of
Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
SECTION 2. That General Fund Account No. 3523 shall be charged
with the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 3.
Pursuant
to KRS 84.000(3) and KRS
89.590(l) an
emergency is hereby
declared to
exist and the requirement
for reading of this
ordinance at two separate meetings is hereby suspended and this ordinance
shall be effective immediately upon passage by the Board of Commissioners.
