ORDINANCE NO. 80-6-1920
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF T 8 M CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS IN THE NORTHSIDE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT AREA, FOR A TOTAL SUM OF $24,980.50, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of T 8 M Con-
struction Company for construction of sidewalks in the Northside Community
Development Area, for the sum of $24,980.50; said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was
authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 22, 1980
and as contained in the bid of T 8 M Construction Company, dated May 21, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with T 8 M Construction Company for construction of side-
walks as authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said construction shall be charged
to Community Development Block Grant Funds.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten
(10) days thereafter.
