ORDINANCE NO. 80-5-1919
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BRANDEIS FOR SALE TO THE
CITY OF PARTS TO REPAIR THE 1969 MODEL CASE 1150 TRACK LOADER, FOR
THE SUM OF $4,799.78, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Brandeis for
sale to the City of parts to repair the 1969 Model Case 1150 Track Loader, for the
sum of $4,799.78; said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of
Commissioners on April 22, 1980, and as contained in the bid of Brandeis, dated
May 2, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Brandeis for repairs to the 1969 Model Case 1150 Track
Loader authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said Track Loader repairs shall
be charged to General Fund Account No. 3409.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least
one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage,
and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
