AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING,THE CITY MANAGER AND
CITY TREASURER TO PAY THE SUM OF $2,594.50 TO WHAYNE SUPPLY COMPANY,,
FOR REPAIRS TO A CATERPILLAR FRONT END LOADER, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY TO EXIST
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION -1., That the City Manager and .City Treasurer shall pay to
Whayne Supply Company, the sum of $2,594.50, for repairs to a Caterpillar front
end loader used by the Refuse Department.
SECTION 2. That General Fund Account No. 3509 shall be charged with
the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 3. Pursuant to KRS, 84.000(3) and KRS 89.590(l) an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and the -requirement for reading of this ordinance
at two separate meetings, .is -hereby -suspended and this ordinance shall be effective
immediately upon passage by the Board of Commissioners.
