A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR
BIDS FOR PARTS TO REPAIR A 1977 MODEL CASE 11508 TRACK LOADER, FOR
THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH
PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to advertise for bids for parts to repair a 1977 Model Case 11508 Track Loader,
said parts to be as listed below:
4 R25670 Roller double flange
8 R25660 Roller single flange
2 R32725 Sprocket drive
2 R25680 Roller track carrier
2 R27668 Chain Assembly 40 units
320 ~ R27166 Bolts
320 R25688 Nuts
Urgent dlivery requested and parts shall be f.o.b. 919 Madison
Street, Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2_ The City Manager shall advertise for sealed bids by a
notice posted on the bulletin board at City Hall and by inserting notice of the
request for bids in The- Paducah Sun to be pub'lished° as required by law. All
bids shall be sealed and no bid shall be received after the hour fixed in the
notice for opening of same. All bids received by the City Manager up to the
time fixed for the opening of same shall be filed with the Board of Commissioners
who may let a contract to the best responsible bidder, and the Board of Com-
missioners shall reserve the right to reject any and all bids and the City shall
not become legally obligated to purchase said parts until the fina~doption of
an authorizing ordinance and the execution of "a contract. ''
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption:
